UFC White House Event Expected to Partially Air on CBS
The landmark UFC fight card at the White House — set for June 14, 2026 — will be partially televised on CBS and its local affiliate stations, an unprecedented appearance from the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion in major broadcast tv.
While it’s not known exactly how much of the fight card, if any, is shown live online or to CBS network viewers, at least a portion of the White House card will air on the house network as well, according to a Front Office Sports report.
The news arrives as UFC and CBS parent company Paramount have continued to unveil their massive multi-billion dollar broadcast rights deal, which also calls for select UFC shows to be made available over a wider television footprint. Earlier this spring, UFC 326 was selected to be broadcast by CBS from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET for prelims and main card fights free of charge — a model that may be followed again for the White House spectacle.
Historic Setting and Broadcast Plans

The upcoming UFC White House event is set to be one of the strangest cards in MMA history, taking place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., for celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Much of the spectacle — including most of the main fights in the card — is expected to stream on Paramount, but a potential broadcast on CBS marks yet another push by the UFC to broaden its audience, offering fans a combination of streaming and traditional television access.
UFC boss Dana White has said that more official details will follow in the next few weeks about which fights are set for the card, and how the CBS broadcast is integrated with streaming coverage. As for other potential matchups, rumors have swirled around Alex Pereira’s name in relation to the historic event, but nothing is set yet.
This tentative approach to broadcasting on CBS reflects both the evolving media strategy of the UFC and the league’s desire to reintroduce sports to a wider audience in one of the most widely discussed venues in the history of sports.
